    Just got done watching Lawrence of Arabia for the first time.
    Visually beautiful, especially the young Omar Sharif!

    And this classic quote is so true: O’Toole’s looks prompted a different reaction from Noël Coward, who after seeing the première of the film famously quipped “If you had been any prettier, the film would have been called Florence of Arabia”.

    François Truffaut’s Day for Night should bump about 7 of those ON your list. And for my money, Claude Lelouch’s And Now My Love is right at the top.
